Our Journey
Kayleigh Rogers launched Grand Rapids Tent Table and Chair Rentals in 2022. With a Master’s degree in occupational therapy and experience working at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, she faced major changes during the COVID-19 pandemic when her hours were reduced and childcare costs rose dramatically. Looking for a better way to provide for her family of four children, she decided to build something new.
What began as a single bounce house bought for neighborhood block parties quickly showed how much joy simple setups could bring. With strong encouragement and support from her husband Ryan, who owns a local marketing agency and created our website, the business expanded from inflatables into a full lineup of tents, tables, chairs, and event essentials.
Those first couple of years brought real obstacles, from managing a young family to figuring out the rental industry. Still, Kayleigh’s determination and the couple’s shared goal of helping people celebrate kept the business moving forward.
